If Bob Dylan and Marvin Gaye had a baby, it might be called "Blackgomez."  The songs on this CD are neither folk nor soul but instead an ecclectic blend of the two that incorporats the best of both traditions along with a good mix of world music  and americana influences.

 As in his visual art, Mr. Cole, as Blackgomez, has taken musical influences from disparate traditions and created something truly unique.

This CD includes 8 original songs including the extended version of African To Me; a song about racial identity.
