San Marino City Club’s April 2026 featured speaker, Willie Cole, is an interdisciplinary artist and writer known for transforming everyday objects into powerful sculptural works that explore culture, consumption, and the environment. Rooted in a lifelong practice of customization that began with scale model cars, his work draws from Dada and Surrealism while telling layered cultural stories. Cole has exhibited internationally, including at MoMA, The Met, and the British Museum.
